When we brought Broo Shampoo and Conditioner to our beauty test lab (read: we personally try every product) we were skeptical. Suuure, caffeine, craft beer, and peppermint in a shampoo sounds like a great sales pitch, but it probably smells a little minty and that’s where it’ll end. But no. This shit works. Not sure if it’s the beer-infusion, caffeine, or smell, or a combo of the two, but we feel decidedly more awake after using this shampoo and conditioner. It leaves your locks sniff- lovely, and follows the old adage of a good rinse in hops makes your locks pop. And it’s not tested on animals, is vegan, cruelty-free, paraben-free, and ticks all the other check points that are important to us. Costing about $8, this product has now made the rotation on our pile up of favorites, as it works beautifully and gives us a great morning snap up and get to it. If it were a voice it would be a mixture of Cher in Moonstruck and Bea Arthur in anything. If it were hands it would be jazz. You catch our drift. Try it.
