The Italian Gelato Maker In Poland (Who Went Vegan)

This is a story that is almost hard to believe it’s so obscure and awesome;

An Italian ice cream craftsman living in Gdynia, Poland randomly sees a copy of Earthlings with his wife.  They both go vegan overnight. His passion for ice cream (traditional gelato) doesn’t trump his disdain for the dairy industry,  so he teaches himself how to make vegan gelato and opens a small shop.  Apparently his gelato is so absurdly good that people from all over Europe travel to try it.

Watch the video – it’s shot in an incredibly artsy and interesting way – and it’s a sweet little feel good morning wake up;

    This should be good news even to non vegans, I suppose!

    Wonder whether he would eventually publish some version of a recipe – it wouldn’t necessarily be his prime version!

  2. I love this story. My grandfather’s parents came to America from Poland. Can’t wait to tell my family about this story.

    Glad their business is doing well. Wish I could try his ice cream. There are so many flavors!
