Vote Mama works toward gender equity by electing moms up and down the ballot and across the country, and leveraging that network of moms in office to pass family-friendly legislation. Since 2019, Vote Mama has helped elect more than 40 moms nationwide, from School Board to the United States Congress. 39% of the moms they’ve elected are women of color, and 10 of their moms won in key districts in Wisconsin and Georgia, helping to build a winning coalition for Democrats up and down the ticket. Moms in office are more likely to champion legislation like paid leave, healthcare, education, and childcare–legislation that is critical for working families in our country.
