Enough with the writing on your face, nasty women, it’s time to update your activist message. Alison Brettschneider, author, activist, philanthropist, and owner of 25 Park, decided to create a sheet of temporary tats to wear to the march – so you can literally wear your heart on your sleeve, face, or arm – in a chic and neat way. Just $28 (a % of all proceeds go to righteous causes,) these fakies will be just the thing to wear when the press asks you why he’s not your president.
To all my nasty womenThis election has inspired the activism of the fiercest, smartest, toughest group of ass kicking women. As women we play many roles. We are daughters, sisters, friends, doctors, teachers, CEO’s, artists, wives and mothers et al. In NONE of these roles is it our job to toughen ourselves to live in a cruel and heartless world. It is our job to make the world LESS cruel and heartless. It is our duty as women- as humans- to make the world a better, kinder place. How? If he builds a wall? We tear it down with our bare hands. and there will be many literal and figurative walls in the coming years. We will tear them all down. Or prevent them being built in the first place. We endure so much as women. Unlevel playing fields in schools and jobs. Harassment in the work place. Pay inequity. Glass ceilings. The list is long…The days of biting our tongues and turning a blind eye are over. We have our voices and we aren’t scared to use them. We may not have shattered one particular ceiling but we can work to tear down any motherfucking walls. This is far more than political. Yes. We will be speak about the affairs of our government. Welcome to democracy. We will be heard. But more than that? This is about humanity.MARCH ON YOU NASTY WOMEN.I am proud to be one of you. With much life, respect, humanity and compassion,Alison @25park
