Embrace Pet Insurance, a leading pet insurance provider for dogs and cats in the U.S., and Best Friends Animal Society, a leading animal welfare organization working to end the killing of cats and dogs in America’s shelters by 2025, have teamed up this holiday season to help more families find new best friends!
For all of December 2022, Embrace will cover adoption fees of dogs and cats adopted through all Best Friends Lifesaving Centers and programs across the country, as well as all animals at Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Kanab, UT. Additionally, Embrace will offer a 10% discount on all policies sold as a result of the initiative.
To spread some holiday cheer, Embrace and Best Friends will be hosting a holiday adoption event at the Best Friends Lifesaving Center in New York City on Saturday, December 3 from 12:30 pm – 4:30 pm. In addition to Embrace covering all adoption fees, Santa will be coming to town and will be on-site for free holiday photos with pets adopted from the shelter.
With the holiday season being one of the busiest times for pet adoption, coupled with the current overcapacity crisis at shelters across the county, Best Friends estimates 2,000 pets will be adopted from their organization by the end of the year – now all going home with their owners for free, thanks to the partnership with Embrace.
