Fan out on instagram beauty stars and their seemingly perfect luminescence and glow? Hate to break it to you, but that’s all highlighter. As summer tans fade away, a gorgeous fake glow is where it’s at. We prefer to skip self-tanner (ugh, orange mess!) and go straight for just a gorgeous shine. Vapour Beauty makes an incredible natural highlighter that accentuates the face with hints of light and luster. Trick Stick is the makeup artist’s secret for adding dimension and a romantic sheen to cheekbones, brow, cupid’s bow and the inner corner of eyes. This includes Vapour’s Herbal Eyebright Complex of organic Chrysanthemum, organic Eyebright and organic Horsetail Herb to encourage circulation and help soothe inflammation. BONUS: Sign up for an account and get $10 off your first purchase with this link -> vapourbeauty.com which then makes this product $10 instead of $20!

We love this lip balm from HollyBeth Organics, the container lasts forever. This is really one of the best vegan lip balms we’ve ever used and is (of course) organic and gluten-free. It’s not too minty, too goopy, or too glossy – it’s perfect and simple. Packaged in an elegant violet glass jar, this moisture-packing balm is the perfect on-the-go lip pampering treatment. Lipstick and lip products are the one beauty product you should proactively seek out organic versions of – since it’s likely you ingest some/ most of it!

This skincare sponge cleans, gently exfoliates, and refreshes, leaving your face feeling like a baby’s butt! This is a must to remove dead skin cells left over from summer baking. Made from plant-fiber, this product is cruelty-free and comes in a few different options based on your skin type. It feels like a soft boob when it’s wet and doesn’t scrub too hard that it causes blemishes. Add cleanser to it to take off all your make up or use it without any cleanser – it’s great either way!

Out of Africa’s Pure Shea Butter Bar Soaps seem to always last longer and smell better than any other soaps we use, but their addition of Green Clay and Apricot Exfoliating have been perfect additions to the line. These two new soaps are great for dry, sensitive and irritated skin, each gentle and creamy formula cleanses without stripping away moisture, while offering antioxidants, vitamins A, E, & F and 100% pure unrefined shea butter to hydrate and heal. Containing actual decomposed plant material, green clay is nutrient rich and can act as pore minimizer. It is ideal for oily and acne prone skin types, and ranked top on Acne Foundation’s acne post. Made with real apricot kernels, this soap will revive dull, dry skin with a gentle, natural scrub. Your face and body will feel soft, supple and nourished with each use. Each soap is made from natural, sustainable ingredients and never tested on animals. They are free of harsh dyes, artificial colors, parabens, sulfates, petrolatums, phthalates, and animal-derived ingredients. They are also biodegradable and created from pure vegetable compounds. Plus: A portion of the proceeds from your purchases will be donated to help provide education as well as medical care to children in West Africa.

Kate Hudson’s stylist Peter Gray calls this brand the “Tesla of vegan hair care,” and we definitely agree. ABBA is vegan, gluten-free, cruelty-free, and made without any dangerous additives. The Texturizing Cream is a dream for styles that require a little hold. This cream weightlessly creates separation, definition and hold to any look. We’ve been using it for tight ponytails (to keep those little baby hairs up,) to define waves, and for spikes on our kids short hair-do’s. They also make a genius natural hairspray we’ve been using exclusively, but that costs $23, so it’s not officially on this list – though we do link to it on amazon below!

It’s always been a challenge to find a really good cleanser that ticks off all our checkboxes like your face really feels clean after washing, doesn’t have a weird smell, takes off make up, and has anti-aging properties. Purifying and renewing your complexion, Osmosis Skincare’s Deep Clean Detox Cleanser is comprised of coconut surfactants and citrus essential oils to remove deep impurities. This gentle foaming wash will not only help to clear up acne but also lift away makeup – all while keeping the skin’s protective lipids intact, never stripping, inflaming or over drying the skin. This vegan, gluten-free formula controls oil production with a blend of lemon, orange and grapefruit oils. Lemongrass is used to kill germs, while lemon, orange peel, and grapefruit oils serve as antioxidants with purifying properties. The combination of these natural ingredients works well with the skin’s own strengths to cleanse without harsh chemicals or damaging products. The added benefit of coconut surfactant is used, which penetrates dirt particles and allows debris from the day to disintegrate. As a result, Osmosis Skincare’s Deep Clean Detox Cleanser makes large pores also become less visible. The formula is completed with sandalwood oil to soften your texture. With each use, skin is left with a satiny finish, feeling clean and refreshed.

My hair looked a little sad this summer being in the sun so much – the waves and curls were just not springing like they usually do when it’s hot out. Influenster sent me this DevaCurl package* and it was game-changing. These conditioners were all magic. Even after one use, my hair was noticeably softer and the curls were happier. Matcha Butter retains moisture and seals the cuticle, Beet Root Extract improves elasticity and protects color, and Sweet Almond Oil is rich in vitamins and Omega Fatty Acids that help moisturize and nourish the hair. All DevaCurl products are cruelty-free, 100% sulfate, paraben and silicone free. Though the large bottles of this can be pricey, we love that you can buy a one-time use packet on amazon for $7 to trial run it first. Plus – as I said prior – even one time made a big difference! If you’re interested in more natural beauty products, check out https://waterliliesandcompany.com/. My friend got some product from there and she tells me it was fantastic!
