Woodstock Farm Animal Sanctuary invites you to come celebrate the joys of summer with live music by Joy Askew, Uncle Rock, Catskill 45’s and more! Lots of kids activities including story telling, face painting, yoga for kids, crafts, hula-hoop lessons, castle bounce, farm tours and a mouthwatering Fourth of July themed VEGE-Q and Woodstock Farmers Market’s own Aba’s Falafel. You’ll get to hang with the cool kids of the compassion movement, and your little ones will be in hog heaven amongst hundreds of sweet rescued furry beings!
This is a fantastic opportunity to introduce friends and family to the joys of WFAS, combining terrific entertainment and meaningful educational opportunities at their gorgeous sanctuary in the rolling hills of the Catskills. Get ready to frolic with goats, give a belly rub to the pigs, cuddle some chickens and nuzzle with some very friendly sheep, all the while supporting this vital and necessary work, as our WFAS brethren and sisters offer shelter to abused, neglected and abandoned animals.
$10 admission for adults, $5 kids, WFAS members & kids under 3 FREE. The sanctuary is just 2 hours from NYC. Bus transportation is available. Go to www.woodstocksanctuary.org for more information or call 845-679-5955. Proceeds from this event will go directly to the charitable work of Woodstock Farm Animal Sanctuary.
