The Innercity Raiders (i.c.r.) is an American brand, designed by Jenn Dixon that’s been on the radar (and backs) of every real rockstar for years now. Now it’s your turn. Jenn makes the best tee shirts, like the kind you had to wear for 15 years to get to look that cool and soft.
I.c.r. began in 2002, in Bushwick, Brooklyn, when Jenn started making t-shirts and jeans for her fellow raiders, a motley group of “dirtbags and motorheads” she proudly called friends. For over 5 years, her men’s collection, called” i.c.r. vs. Deth killers of bushwick,” was found at the world’s top retailers, and worn by some of the hottest dudes around…. David Beckham, Viggo Mortensen, Justin Thereoux and David Bowie. You’ll also catch handfuls of sexy rocker chicks subtly flaunting their assets in i.c.r gear. Jenn designed David Bowie’s 2004 reality tour wardrobe, but in 2007, the brand split in two, and Jenn took i.c.r. on the road.
Looking for future prospects and a claim to land, she bought an abandoned farm west of Chicago, where she set up the i.c.r. homestead chapter and the new innercity raiders studio, where she makes all this beautifully made gear with her own two tough claws.
Now the innercity raiders are back in-store for ss13, with a kick-ass collection of 13 handmade dirty black t-shirts, 100% made in the usa , hand-screened on her homestead, handmade by the innercity raiders.
Plus their new website is badass and designed by interactive favorite of the rockstaratti Craft&Valor.
The shirts are available in stores near you.
