How To Create Your Own Topical Cannabis

How to get started.Running a cannabis business in a crowded market can be difficult. However, it’s not impossible. One thing that may help is a cannabis loan from a site like https://www.heffinance.com. This will help to get you off the ground if you’re thinking of selling your products on the commercial market. Try to find a niche that you can exploit. For example, there might not be anyone selling organic cannabis in your area, in which case this may be the niche for you.

Benefits: Creating your own cannabis topical allows you to manage the dose and quantity of cannabis. You can tailor the entire product to your needs, from the fragrance to the consistency, and even the packaging, to ensure that your finished product is perfect for you and your body. If you need help with the former, you can check out marijuana packaging websites like greenrushpackaging.com to see how you can make customizable packaging that works for your product and can keep it safe and protected so it doesn’t spoil. You may even wish to grow and harvest the cannabis plant yourself (you can find seeds online at places like Weed-Seeds.com) so that you know exactly what will be going into your topical and that it will work for you.

How does cannabis help? Creating a cannabis topical under the influence of the herb helps you let your guard down so you can get messy and experiment with textures and essential oil scents. While there are companies like mota or similar others that can provide you with top-class topicals, creating your own can be an exciting experience in itself. Opt for a Sativa to keep your mind on point and concentrate on the physicality of the luxurious task at hand.

HOW TO

  1. To begin, center yourself with a hit of cannabis.
  2. Collect your ingredients. You’ll need roughly 10 grams of cannabis, a nonstick baking sheet, parchment paper, a grinder or mortar and pestle, 1/3 cup of olive oil, 1 1/2 cups of coconut oil, a double boiler (or a makeshift one with a pot placed on top of a pot), a cheesecloth, 1/3 cup of beeswax (*vegans can use canuba or soy wax,) and essential oils of your choosing.
  3. Preheat your oven to 245 F. Place your cannabis on a nonstick baking sheet, cover with parchment paper, and bake for 30 to 45 minutes or until golden-brown.
  4. Remove the cannabis from the oven and set it aside to cool.
  5. Add the olive oil and coconut oil in the double boiler. Stir at a low temperature for roughly 25 minutes, then add your decarboxylated ground cannabis to the oil mixture and continue stirring for another 25 minutes.
  6. Move your creation away from the flames and filter out the cannabis buds using a cheesecloth, leaving only infused oil.
  7. Combine the infused oil and the beeswax in the double boiler. Add essential oil as desired (I like to use 6–8 drops, but this is a personal decision). Cinnamon oil is spicy and seductive. Lavender is calm and soothing. Orange awakens the senses. Use your high mind: What does your body need?
  8. When everything is combined, remove from the heat. Let your body potion cool off, and apply to your body as needed. Feel the cannabis soak into your skin and begin working its nourishing and anti-inflammatory properties to ease aches and pains as your skin glows. Store the topical in a sealable jar for up to 6 months to a year.
