Cute Nail Studio Partners with Out Youth to Provide Free Salon Services for Austin Trans Youth

Cute Nail Studio, an Austin, Texas-based art nail and esthetics studio just announced that they have partnered with Out Youth, a local nonprofit providing health and wellness services to LGBTQIA+ persons aged 18-23, to provide weekly free salon services to Out Youth clients enrolled in the Trans Wellness Program.

One of our main goals in opening Cute was to create a safe space for genderqueer people to come and feel beautiful,” said Jason Darling, co-owner of the salon. “I personally know how scary it can be to ask for beauty services that don’t conform to social norms- I’ve been doing it my entire adult life! Because of my experiences, I wanted to make a place that helped people fearlessly pursue their personal definition of beauty.

Trans Wellness is a program of Out Youth that provides support groups, short-term counseling, and other resources to trans and non-binary adults. Through the program, Cute Nail Studio will be able to offer a free weekly service of nail art and esthetics to Out Youth clients. “We’re really grateful to Out Youth for doing awesome work for our community, and we’re super excited that they’ve given us the opportunity to help out,” said Darling.

Cute Nail Studio lives in a rainbow building on Austin’s East Side. They offer nail art and esthetics ranging from classically pretty to supernaturally unexpected, and they want you to know that they love you. Check out their Instagram (@cutenailstudio) for wild eye candy and more information.
