Organic Vegan Cucumber Bloody Mary

Who doesn’t love a great Bloody M? But did you know most Bloody Mary’s contain non-vegan ingredients like honey and fish paste from the Worcestershire sauce? Not this recipe! So now you can feel free to imbibe this January 1st to toast National Bloody Mary Day!

It’s a fact that organic spirits leave you with less of a headache. Ingredients

  • 2 oz Prairie Cucumber Flavored Vodka
  • ½ cup tomato juice
  • A squeeze of fresh lemon juice
  • Worcestershire sauce to taste {Vegan Worcestershire sauce isn’t the chupacabra, though nearly all W. Sauce contains fish sauce and honey so you’ll have to be careful here, veggers. Annie’s Natural’s makes a great organic ready-made version, or make your own from scratch with this recipe.}
  • Hot sauce to taste
  • 1 thick cucumber slice, notched

Directions:

Mix vodka, tomato juice, a squeeze of fresh lemon, Worcestershire sauce and hot sauce in a shaker. Shake with ice and pour mixture (including ice) into a highball. Garnish with a cucumber on rim of glass.
