A husband and wife team named Farzan and Jen from California have eliminated over 37 Million single use plastic bags by reinventing the traditional grocery bag with the Lotus Trolley Bag, which spreads out accordion-style in your cart to allow for easy packing and organization. There is an insulated bag for cold items, pockets to hold eggs, wine securely and reinforced bottoms. The product has certainly made shopping easier, safer and totally organized.

The couple says their business was “born out of necessity.” Americans use 100 BILLION plastic bags per year, and only 1% of plastic bags are recycled per year. But here’s the heartbreaking part: They are only used an average of 12 minutes! It is estimated by 2050 there will be more plastic than fish in our oceans.

These bags fit perfectly in the carts of any grocery store, and they also offer a big box store version for those super huge carts and wonderful mesh produce bags. Everything is reusable, washable, and BPA-free.  They are also a “1% To The Planet” Member so a percentage of each sale will support a great charity!

Buy them today on their shop at lotustrolleybag.com or on amazon below;
