Eventfull: Party For These Causes

We can’t wait for Fall, if only to attend these tremendous events! Join us, please, let’s make our partying for good a group effort;

WHAT? ThanksLiving–now in it’s 6th year- at Woodstock Farm Animal Sanctuary!  This unique celebration features 250 people enjoying an elegant meal in a heated tent in the goat pasture, and the rescued turkeys are the guests of honor instead of the main course. Holding the event a month early in October is the perfect time to take full advantage of the gorgeous leaves and fall weather.

WHY? Funds raised from this benefit are critical for animal rescue and placement operations, the daily care of the furry residents, and WFAS important advocacy work on behalf of farmed animals everywhere.

WHO? Terry Hope Romero is the master chef for the evening and the top-selling vegan cookbook authors in the country and the girl knows how to cook!  She’ll be selling and signing her cookbooks at the farm that day.  Regal Vegan and Blossom are providing the hors d’eourves and Vegan Treats is providing the scrumptious, ok-now-I-can-die-happy desserts again this year. Frey Wine is the wine donor. Celebrity fans of WFAS include Sean Lennon, Tracy Bonham, Moby, and Olivia Munn. You may see any of them under the stars this evening.

WHEN? October 16th, 2011

WHERE? Woodstock Farm Animal Sanctuary in Woodstock, NY.

This event raises important operating funds for their shelter so please go nuts buying your holiday gifts!
