How Your Old iPhone or iPod Could Change An Alzheimer Patient’s Life

The powerful new documentary Alive Inside gives an intimate look at the amazing effects of music for those living with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.

GirlieGirl Army contributor Melissa Slack was extremely moved by the film and contacted the Music & Memory organization to see how she could help. This non-profit org collects used iPods/iPhones to set up personal playlists for seniors in nursing homes.

Melissa has offered to collect 50 working pieces for the elderly, and is reaching out to you – our brilliant GGA audience – to help!

“I’ve just gathered up my first handful in the pic below :)”
