Coveted by style icons such as Natalie Portman, Sienna Miller, Leona Lewis, Abbie Cornish and Ellen Page, Beyond Skin is a British brand, established in 2001, that creates beautiful, fashion-led footwear for discerning style-led women.  They even have a divine bridal collection! Oh yea, and they are all totally vegan.  We’ll deny saying this, but lots of vegan shoes fall apart pretty easily.  Beyond Skin shoes last forever and have a very custom-made feel to them.  So we are giving them some serious GirlieGirl Army love.

Hot Bonus: subscribers can get a further exclusive discount of 10% off all styles and promotions until the 27th January ’11!

Apart from the occasional fun, quirky prints injected throughout the range, much of their latest AW10 collection is made up of a selection of faux patent, faux leather and features opulent coloured Dinamica faux suede. This microfiber suede is made in Italy from 100% recycled PET plastics such as plastic bottle tops and is both durable and sustainable.  This amazing fabric is currently used for high-end car interiors such as Jaguar, Mercedes and Range Rover as it does not watermark, and is incredibly stain resistant.

  1. Dorothea Bozicolona-Volpe says:

    I LOVE the Dita
This is the right amount of business in the front and party in the back (the equivalent of a sexy, dare I say it, mullet but in a shoe). The heel and the sexy details are what really make this shoe simply gorgeous!

  2. Lauren says:

I love the Black Faux Patent Flat Brogue. They seem practical but still cute! I would wear them with rolled up pants while riding my bike around the city.

  3. Loli says:

I’m a 6′ tall English teacher lady in Vienna and the jessie/printed ballet flats would make my job (which is basically corralling a bunch of grumpy German speaking 17 year olds all day and getting them to make movies and paper cranes in English AWESOME!!!!

  4. Loli says:

I just realized I forgot to close my parenthesis. Embarrassing!)

  5. Shannon D says:

My favorite shoe is the Maggie in Black spot pony. It looks like the perfect heel in a fun print. I would wear it to dress up dark denim skinnies or even to add some fun to a simple black dress.

  6. The MAGGIE in Red Recycled Suede is absolutely killer.

There’s a classic but edgy & fun quality to the shape of the shoe that draws me in (It’s the shape for the humble free spirit, the curious wanderer). I’m in constant search of the right high heel – ones that are comfortable, provide my ankles with enough support, and look super cute – and MAGGIE seems to fit the bill.

For a night out, I would pair MAGGIE with grey pencil jeans, black boyfriend blazer, black tank, and long, gold necklace with leaf charms. At the office, I would pair MAGGIE with black slim leg pants, hip-length black scoop neck top with quarter-length juliet sleeves, big statement ring and a couple of gold or red bangles. I don’t own either outfit right now but if I won these shoes, my closet WILL expand. Seriously.

  7. OrganiKooK says:

I adore the leopard print boot, Renee. They would look mahvelous with my leggings, or perhaps my black organic hooded short dress. I would like to wear them to my work at school teaching, where all the kids would be asking where I got them! Oh, and they are the same name as one of my best lifelong friends to boot! (ha, pun intended….)

  8. Katherine L says:

i would wear these to absolute shreds, to work, to brunch, to the playground, Everywhere!

  9. Terri Dell says:

I love the DANNI – High Heel Chelsea Boot in Black Recycled Faux Suede They would rock with a pair of jeans

  10. Julianne says:

    Love the Dita! So glam!

  11. samantha says:

I love the PIXIE over the knee boots in black suede, it’s a classic and timeless look. It would be perfect with all my skirts & skinny jeans. A boot you could wear with almost anything, anywhere, anytime. I guess that makes it a triple A boot. :)

  12. Ashley says:

I love the Lou Lou! It would be great to wear to work, or even with jeans on weekends. The Lou Lou would be perfect for me beause I am graduating college this May and starting a new job, so I will need something fun (and vegan!) to wear to jazz-up my work clothes. I would wear them with a pencil skirt, blazer and tank top.

  13. lindsay says:

Romeo in Black with lace tights and a shress (shirt i rock as a dress)!

    and some red lipstick,

  14. Alex says:

The Pixie purple suede boots! I can wear them with my multitude of cute gray dresses.

  15. Phoenix says:

I love love love the black leopard print knee high Renee boot. I have many leopard print outfits it would complement. The boots are very stylish & sleek. I’d wear them anytime I went stepping out for a fine evening on the town, as well as once in a while on neighbourhood errands just for fun. Thanks for making them vegan & durable – & for the fantastic giveaway.

  16. Sharon says:

I LOVE the Roxanne! Who doesn’t love a black boot? It goes with everything! I’d wear it with leggings and an oversized shirt. Adorable!

  17. Lauren says:

The Renee Knee High Boot Spot Pony is so hot! I love supporting any brands that are cruelty free. Thanks for a great giveaway!!!

  18. Diana says:

My favorite is the Alpine boot.
I’d wear it with just about anything and everything — skinny jeans, a skirt & tights, maybe even a dress. These boots would be the perfect go-to, all-purpose shoe for me. I’d wear them to work, for a night out, even to just walk the dog. Plus, I like the Beyond Skin philosophy and would be proud to show off these boots to my vegan friends.

  19. Love the Terrie in Faux Red Suede – my very own Ruby Slippers, gorgeous and gorgeously kind shoes.

  20. Jesse says:

I *love* the Danni! I was born with Spina Bifida which badly affected the muscles in my feet & ankles. This makes it impossible for me to wear high heels, which is really frustrating when I’m trying to dress up! The Danni shoe looks stylish and supportive- something a majority of high heels don’t offer… meaning I could actually wear them! The design is so artsy & hip looking as well, which is another reason why I’m drawn to them…. and of course the fact that they’re vegan!

  21. Nadja Judin says:

What fun way to wake up – great coffee and the Beyond Skin website – but which pair when they are all so wonderful? However, Danni is to die for – and they would go on the feet of my 16 year old daughter who has been a vegetarian every meal of her whole life – commitment and consciousness like that deserve to be rewarded with these shoes – and I have no doubt that she would be able to dress them up and down perfectly – she would truly wear them well.

  22. Amber says:

I’m a subscriber and my favorite pair are the ROMEO – Black over the Knee High Boots

  23. Hi Chloe Jo!
You’ve inspired me to do a special VEGAN post on my blog. I’m going to check your site and poach a couple of good resources…very excited. Thanks for the newsletters and lick the dog kids for me!
    [empire of the dog]

  24. Kristin says:

I like the Sole in the Black and White Square Print. They look comfy and classy and would work great for when I photograph weddings and am on my feet all day.

  25. Karen says:

I absolutely adore the Sole ballet flats in the black and white print!

  26. Misty says:

I would wear a pair of the Sole Ivory Stripe Ballet Flats with everything this spring/summer. I am daydreaming of sundresses, capris and bermuda shorts as I sit surrounded by snow here in the midwest!

  27. Debra Simning-Chapman says:

There are many to choose from, love them! If I had to pick just one, it would be the Alpine Boot. I love the short style and would wear them out dancing with jeans and a sassy top. Comfortable and yet sassy with the buckles!

  28. Erin says:

Okay, that was a really tough decision! I would absolutely LOVE to own the Danni in Black Recycled Faux Suede because that is one FIERCE bootie! I rarely purchase out-on-the-town shoes because workwear always trumps my wardrobe budget. So these are badly needed!

I would wear them with black tights/leggings and a short edgy dress. If the night is more casual I would rock them with skinny jeans, a long top & a faux-leather jacket!

  29. Melissa Baker says:

I am in love with all of them! But if I have to choose just one, I love Dita in black. It’s sexy, and versatile, and could work just as well at the office as it would for a weekend out with the girls. Oh, and did I mention they’ve sexy? ‘Cuz they are.

  30. Melonie says:

I love the Alpine boot! I would pair it with … well, pretty much anything – I can see wearing it with a casual dress and tights or paired up with some skinny denim and a simple tanktop. You can wear these anywhere as they look good without a high heel!

  31. Anita says:

Umm, the Renee’s the Lou Lou’s or the Ditta is pretty fanatastical.
Wow could take on NYC if they are made with auto fabric.

  32. melanie says:
i LOVE these. a good pair of vegan oxfords are hard to come by! i’d wear these with high wasted slacks (bottoms rolled up) and a big comfy sweater.

i’m a sucker for flats though- and again, quality made vegan ballet flats are one in a million. i find myself blowing through tons of cheap ones, so i was immediately drawn to these (after drooling over the oxfords, of course)…
these, paired with some black tights and a big sweater would be a main staple for any compassionate lady!

  33. Melisser says:

I am such a boot lover! I wear them ALL the time with dresses or skinny pants, to protests or to formal functions. I am constantly asked about my boots; where I bought them, if they’re leather- people love good boots, so I’d love to rep Beyond Skin in a pair of Pixie boots!

  34. Bridget says:

I love the Jessie flats wih the bow; I’d wear them all the time with straight and skinny jeans!

  35. carri obrien says:

I’d chose the Danni, for the severe Librarian look!!

  36. Jillian says:

I would like the Roxanne boots, if you please. This is how I’d rock them.
-with skinny jeans and a tank.
-on a cold day add I’d add a coat with some form of a billow, like the one I have with tapered arms at the top and billowy sleeves. Sounds ugly, but it’s really sleek and fun.
    -with dressy slacks and trousers
-with a REALLY long skirt with knee-length slit in the back.
-with a mini-mini skirt and tights
Thank you for this opportunity and for saving the animals!

  37. Jennifer says:

I love the Lou Lou! Totally wearable for work or weekend or a night out.

  38. HS says:

I love the Lou Lou bow flats for their vintage comfort and very classic appeal!

  39. Adina M. says:

I love the Saphire in Cream Organic Cotton. How will I wear them? I’ll wear them to my wedding on April 4th! I just got engaged and haven’t found the perfect vegan shoes, and I think these will do the trick :)

  40. Brit says:

Definitely the Maggie’s in black faux suede. They are gorgeous, classy, and a little bit retro. They could make anything I’m wearing instantly sexy. Jeans & blouses, dresses, cute skirts, especially high-waisted ones. They would also work really well for the midnight Rocky Horror Picture Show viewings I love going to :) I love simple, vintage-y style and these would just be perfect!

  41. Elaine says:

So hard to choose just one, but if forced, I would love to be owned by JANICE – DESIGNER VEGAN BROGUED COURT SHOE IN BLACK PRINCE OF WALES CHECK. They are so gorgeous and being Scots, well, the plaid is practically a tartan. I am in desperate need of a new pair of black heels, low or mid as I had back surgery and can *sniff* no longer wear high heels. They would be for going out on the town, of course!

  42. P. Tina Watson says:

I love the Alpine Black Faux Suede.. they are rebellious and sexy. I’ve been wearing gumboots lately cleaning mud from the Floods in Queensland. These would be a nice change of footwear. I hope one day all shoes are Eco-nista and Vegan!

  43. Naomi says:

I love the Vixen Over Knee Wedge boots. They look practical (Dinamica recycled faux suede won’t get waterspots, hooray!) whilst precociously high- the wedge makes them imminently wearable. I’d love to wear them with bold tights and minis or with jeans tucked in. Gorgeous and easy.

  44. The Jessie is fabulous!!!! Nothing better than a cute flat to navigate the hazzardous NYC sidewalks!!!!

  45. Ellesha says:

My fave is Romeo, in black. I can’t believe how close to real leather they look. They’re gorgeous – edgy yet elegant. I would wear them with skinny jeans, a silky black top, trench coat and cheeky hat.

  46. hofken says:

The shoes I love the most are the Saphire in Black Organic Cotton because I love the jewelled art-deco style brooch and they are on SALE! I’d wear them with my royal blue suit that I wear for all of my jury trials. The shoes look like they would be as comfortable and they are stunning! (Maybe the jurors would be mesmerized by my dazzling shoes and forget about my client’s guilt!)

  47. Kristina says:

I love Peaches is red! I would wear them to the annual Red party.

  48. Amy Lustig says:

I love the CANDY – Black Shine High Heel Vegetarian Shoe. It makes me excited for warm weather :)

I’d get the ROMEO – Black over the Knee High Boots for my granddaughter who’s getting ready to head off to college. She picked them out and says she’d wear them with skinny jeans or tights, whenever she felt like looking really chic.

  53. I love the Alpine boot (! It would be so cute with skinny jeans or tights and a skirt! I love that it’s made with recycled materials and is durable. It would be my new weekend boot.

  54. Lauren Michelle says:

I love the Sole turquoise satan ballet flats. I do a lot of walking so I live in flats. These flats would go great with my skinny jeans and cardigans and I can also dress them up for any evening look.

  55. Julia says:

I love BOBBI – BLACK FAUX LEATHER FLAT BROGUE. I would wear them with so many things, I can’t even list them all!

  56. amanda says:

My favorite pair is the Alpine! I had a pair very similar last winter and wore them every day. they developed holes in the soles but i can’t bear to throw them away.

  57. Janelle King says:

My favorite pair is the Dita in Pink Burton Print. As soon as I saw them I knew they were made for me! I believe that shoes are not just footwear; they can actually lead you on the journeys you take in life. When I saw these shoes I knew they would lead me on many exciting journeys. They are classy and fun, and I would wear them EVERYWHERE! If they were mine, every day I wore them would bring a new adventure.

  58. vanessa says:

    Yes please, Senior Ricardo!
I do not own a single pair of boots anymore. My last pair was just so scuffed up they had to go. I would wear the Ricardo with tights & short skirts… my favorite! I’m guessing they will see plenty of skinny jean action too. I’m drooling at the thought.
Excuse me now, I need to go dream about Ricardo. :)

  59. applesnbananas says:

  61. LB says:

ROXANNE! (<-Sting Voice) It was love at first sight. I would like a pair in black please; I just love their sexy style. I also love the practicality of ankle boots 1) the weather 2) great foot that can be worn a multitude of ways. They look good enough for work, at the club, or even a casual stroll. I would pair them with jeans, skirts, and slacks fall, winter, and spring.

  62. Jodie says:

I am torn, but I am LOVING the Renee in the Leopard print. The shoes are all so beautiful, and I love that they’re breathable non-leather. My feet sweat in far too many vegan shoes. I think these boots would work well with dresses/skirts, and possibly even skinny jeans. They are just so beautiful!

  63. ashley says:

signed up. i like the PIXIE – Over the Knee Boots Black Suede because it looks like a comfortable boot that could replace a worn out pair i have

  66. Sarah says:

I have been dreaming over all of those non-vegan ballet flats from Tory Burch. These flats are just as amazing, even more so because they are vegan and humane! I absolutely adored them all, but if I had to choose one I would say the Black & White Square Print are my favorite.

I would wear them on casual days to work and to school, and pretty much everywhere!

  70. Jessica says:

Well, these would be my first consciously vegan heals. I would wear them to an upcoming wedding where everyone has just learned that I *gasp* stopped eating meat, dairy and eggs. My choice has become quite the thing to talk about and I would be able to show everyone with pride that being peaceful can also be fashionable!! My choice of shoe would be the Leonna, Low Heel Court Shoe Black Faux Leather. Beyond Skin has many amazing choices!!

  71. Ashley says:

I love the Lou Lou in purple- it’s fun and a little edgy (your feet would stand out in that style, they wouldn’t just fade into the sea of shoes on the street), but you could also run for the subway and wear the shoes in the rain.

  72. 1955nurse says:

My 1st choice would be the ‘Alpine’ boot, 2nd would be the ‘Jessie’. iin black, US size 10! There’s some seriously cute styles there, love the Vegan aspect of all of them!!!

  73. 1955nurse says:

Ooops! Forgot to tell you how I would wear them…. I’m on my feet all the time, so heels have become sort-of a ‘no-go’ for me – either the Jessie or the Alpine boot look so stylish, and would fit my ‘off-work’ lifestyle, too! Thanks for the chance……

  74. Patricia F says:

Hello, I just love the CANDY – Red Recycled Faux Suede Platform Sandal and I would wear them dressed up or even with jeans. Love, love, love them! Thanks for a great giveaway!

  75. Ashley says:

I love the Jessie flat in purple!!
    So many amazing options…

  76. Calista Johnson says:

I love the Pixie Over the Knee Purple Suede boots. Who does not love a pair of purple suede boots! :). These would add a bit of daring chic to a simple outfit like leggings and a chunky cable sweater. You could dress them up with a black outfit for a fun night out. I will admit I like the fact that they are cute and flat, don’t want to kill my feet in heels all the time :)

  77. The fabulous knee high Renee boot in classic black faux suede! I’d pair it with a sleek, black satin dress and a faux fur stole, that I make! and then have a elegant, candle lit dinner at home with my sweetheart…I’ll send you a pic of it, barefoot for today tho…

  78. Gina says:

I really like the Danni. I don’t have a pair like that to wear to work with pants. They’re perfect! Trying to find a non-leather, non-suede shoe like that is very difficult!!! LOVE IT!

  79. LOVING the Danni!!! In light of the impending Royal Wedding in the UK-we like these shoes with their English reference!!!

  80. Beth says:

I would wear the Dita. I LOOOVE heels. I am only 5 feet tall – so they give me some serious stature. I work in advertising and it is important to look your best. There is nothing I like better than being able to represent an amazing line. I would wear this with a cute little skirt and a button down shirt (going for the cute and sexy librarian look)

  81. Michelle Danielson says:

I’d love to be able to wear the Roxanne….such a change from the shoes I need to wear for work (I’m a nurse). I would wear them with any of my skinny jeans (or any of my other jeans, actually). Would be really cute, and cruelty free, to boot.

  82. Christine says:

Do we really have to choose just one? What a difficult task! All these shoes and boots would perfectly complement some lovely eco-fashion. I must admit that although I adore shoes, I often find myself wearing cheap shoes instead of taking the time to find a good pair of shoes, so to win this contest would be wonderful for me. (Although if I don’t win, at least now I know where to look for a gorgeous pair!)

But now the choice- what should I choose? The first shoes I checked out were the Sole ballet flats, because I am a practical girl, and a good pair of ballet flats can go with anything, especially if they’re in a cute black and white print. Or maybe black satin. Or a fun red. Well, you see the problem here! But if I were to purchase a pair, it would be the print. Practical, remember?

Of course, this is a contest, and I believe that if you aren’t paying for the shoes yourself, you don’t have to be practical with money. Sounds good, doesn’t it? So in the end, the choice should be about passion, and there is one pair which made my heart race a little. This pair of shoes reminded me of this amazing pair of shoes my Barbie doll had. This probably sounds odd, but I had this wonderful pair of orange-red Barbie shoes that had belonged to my older cousin, and I had never seen Barbie shoes like this before. I used to wish that I had those shoes in my size because they were so incredible. (And while a lot of the Barbie stuff is now gone, those shoes are still in my collection.) So it is because of this passion I felt upon seeing these shoes on the Beyond Skin website that there could only be one choice here: the Candy sandal in red. So fabulous! And I think they’re even prettier than the ones my Barbie had. :)

Thanks so much for this fun giveaway! Whoever wins a pair of these shoes or boots will be lucky indeed!

  83. Jaclyn Reynolds says:

I really like this one:MAGGIE – High Heel Court Black Faux Suede. Would match with just about everything and I’m most comfortable in heels!

I like the Black Stripe Satin ballet flats. They are perfect for casual and dressy outfits and I don’t have a pair even remotely like them.

  85. Amber says:

My favorite Beyond Skin shoe is the Leonna. I would wear it with a black cotton vintagy looking dress (such as this one which has been on my Etsy Favorites list for some time now:

The red Leonna would add a lovely burst of color which would emphasize the romantic look of the dress.

The shoe is great for me because my husband and I are the same height (5’9). I don’t want to tower over him, but I don’t want to give up wearing heels either. This shoe has a small heel, but a big effect that could punctuate practically any outfit.

  86. Gabi says:

I am in love with the Jessie GUILT FREE Vegan Shoe Ballerina in Black Faux Suede. Why? Because you search and search for the Perfect Ballerina flat to go with the Perfect little black dress, Antique black lace over ivory. Not too mention they would look wicked with my cuffed jeans and well let’s face it, who can’t use a great pair of black flats- utility, it’s all about utility- with pizazz of course. Gotta love that bow.

  87. Anna says:

I love the Ricardo in black. I’ve been looking for a mid heeled vegan boot for a year and haven’t found any I like, until now! These are just perfect, simple but gorgeous!

I’d wear them with skirt and tights, leggings or even skinny jeans, basically anywhere I want to look a bit more chic. And they’d go perfectly with a black dress for my friends hen party next month, proving that great boots needn’t mean wearing leather or suede!

  88. Hoa says:

Subscribed to your blog via e-mail.
