Cri de Coeur, the eco-vegan luxury footwear and accessories brand established in 2008 by Gina Ferraraccio and Julie Dicterow and denim west coast staple, 7 For All Mankind have teamed up to bring us an affordable sustainable timeless cross-body bag. Often nicknamed as “Sevens,” the brand has become not only a household name, but a favorite among Hollywood elite, fashion editors and stylists.
The “Seven” bag by Cri de Coeur is ethically sourced and produced using high quality Italian vegan leather and non toxic materials. The vegan cross body style will be sold exclusively at the 7 For all Mankind flagship stores starting mid October. The retail price will be under $100, proving affordable luxury and sustainability can walk hand-in-hand.

- Monogrammed Vegan Kipling Bags I used to have a Kipling bag, with the cute little monkey charm dangling off the side. The brand used to be synonymous with 80's tubular style, now it's gone grown up and glam.. oh and vegan. Even with a collection by supermodel Helena Christensen. That's right - nearly every bag (with the exception of their leather collection) is cruelty-free! And they still come with the monkeys, though we personally pop 'em off and give them to our kiddies to put on their knapsacks and keep these durable and great looking bags all to ourselves.
Founded in 1987 with its name inspired by Rudyard Kipling, the author of "The Jungle Book", Kipling has evolved beyond its original roots of providing high quality backpacks suited for the adventures of everyday life into a distinctive, worldwide brand offering a range of carryalls for a variety of lifestyles.
23 Kipling bags are sold every minute, somewhere in the world. More than 35 million people in the world now own at least one Kipling bag.
There are more Kipling bags than there are people in Belgium.
So.. yea.. this company is hot hot hot.
AND there is a Kipling event in NYC next week for our big apple readers!
With serious incentive to attend!
Kipling is taking the pop-up to the next level and launching the future of retail with a non-traditional and immersive approach to the 'pop-up'. The experiential activation is product driven, creatively showing consumers how the bags fit into their everyday lives. The activation is full of surprise integration points, as well as performances and an upbeat vibe. A discreet POS opportunity is available once consumers have immersed within the experience and the products.

- Exclusive: Grand Opening of Adorable Eco Vegan E-Boutique: Plus 20% off!
A girl should never have to sacrifice her sense of style for her strong set of beliefs! Whether you are vegan, passionate about the environment and/or fair trade practices, there is no need to settle when it comes to quality or style when purchasing bags, shoes & accessories. An adorable new e-boutique, Compassion Couture, has come to town!
Compassion Couture was started by two fashion-forward sisters/BFFs, Jill & Tracey Spiritus. Both being non-meat eaters with a sincere concern for the welfare of animals and the planet, they found it difficult to locate stores that offer items made of high-quality materials that follow the latest fashion trends, while also being 100% animal friendly and ethical. Often spending hours scouring the web for brands that fulfilled their needs, or settling for items that were “vegan by default” (made from non-sustainable materials cheaper than leather then sold as “vegan”); they took the plunge towards developing their shop in the hopes that they could help women in similar predicaments. After around 10 months of hard work and planning, Compassion Couture was born. The e-boutique is a one-stop shop that makes it simple and easy to find items that are a balance between your values and feminine passion for style. The site is 100% animal friendly and only offers products by labels that place a strong emphasis on producing their goods in a sustainable and ethical way. Items include an array of fashion-forward high quality shoes, bags, wallets, belts and other accessories.

- The Most Comprehensive List of Vegan Bags and Shoes EverBag It Up: You Are A Shoe-In!
Could this possibly be the most comprehensive list of vegan bags and shoes on the market? Could be! There are plenty of accidentally vegan shoes out there. Even the worst fur offending couturier designer occasionally makes a satin flat without a leather sole, and we all know stripper stores are bonanzas of plastic nipple-twirl inducing heels. But let’s support our Bro’s and Sisters in fashion who make a point to offer vegan shoes and bags, or those tip-toeing into veganizing their company, and aren’t afraid to use the word vegan. For the record, we are including a few designers who show some leather in the past, but offer distinctively vegan styles, labeled as such. But if vegan-only is your bag (and we completely get it,) then don't support the companies with NOV after the listing. Many folks choose not to even wear Stella McCartney because her line does use non-vegan fibers like wool and silk. Her shoes, bags, and belts however, are 100% vegan. Are we missing someone? Tell us who in the comments section, and we will investigate, then add to our list. And don't try to psychoanalyze the order of the brands, it's in no particular order. We don't have that kind of time! ;) Dump the excuses, donate or sell your old leather, stop making it look foxy on your fine self, and get with some animal-friendly options!
NOV = Not only vegan, this company also sells non vegan goods.
