Imagine our joy in discovering Zuzu mascara. This mascara is amazing, totally safe, and works like a charm. Trust us, of all the vegan mascaras we have tried, this is by far the best. A few coats give you a nice natural look, and four and more coats give you lashes that look like you are wearing fake lashes. Loves it. With ingredients like Aloe and Sea Fennel, why would you ever go the chemical laden route? This stuff is great and non irritating for content lens wearers. While we are on the lash topic, Talika lash extender is nothing short of a revelation. It’s tiny rayon fibers that you put on your lashes in between coats of mascara which act like plumpers and give you serious lash appeal. Imagine if you cut up fake lashes and stuck them on your natural lashes in between mascara coats. It’s that easy, minus the eyelash glue (the mascara acts as your glue.) Warning: use this stuff over a sink or towel, because the tiny fibers drop off your lashes during application. This can be irritating if you wear contacts, so you may want to skip it. Talika is also entirely cruelty-free.

Cruelty free as in they don’t test on animals. As for the ingredients, I’m sure there’s lots of nastiness:(

The best vegan mascara I have found is Manic Panic Collection! Zuzu luxe is great if you want a natural look, but the Manic Panic is better for length & volume. Can’t beat the $10.00 price tag, either.

Picked up ZuZu at Whole Foods; loving it so far. Was going to order from Gabriel Cosmetics, but shipping was almost $10, so luckily WF carries it.

OM, thank Goddess you posted this. I was actually JUST going to ask you about it! I am so frustrated with mascara. How do I get lush lashes without raccoon eyes? It gets all melded with my under eye concealer around 2:30pm. Most recent attempt is Decay waterproof and it’s permanently cemented to my lashes! I need to give Zuzu a try.
