The co-creator of Blossom and Cafe Blossom, Ronen Seri, has just opened V-Note, an organic wine bar and vegan bistro set in an elegant, relaxed, and inviting space on the Upper East Side.
What makes it fabulous? V-note carries a vast selection of wine and beers, all of which are vegan, organic and/or bio-dynamic and (certain items) kosher so you can booze without guilt.
But the real news: this kitchen is open later than any other vegan restaurant in NYC!
V-note will be open 7 days a week until midnight, with a tapas menu available. So you can hit up V-note for late night munchies or to get your seitan fix at 11pm, if need be… c’mon we’ve all been there. Particularly perfect for a hot date, you’ll also get your grub on with a brand new menu of gourmet animal-free eats like Pistachio and pepper dusted tofu served over roasted root vegetable crepes with a lemon truffle emulsion, Vegan schnitzel, House made ravioli with cashew cream, Seitan scaloppini in a white wine lemon caper sauce, Creamy tomato Risotto with lobster, trumpet, crimini, and porcini mushrooms… we could go on and on. But we will let you discover the menu for yourself. Or cheat by reading it online.

It;s such a great frrling to able to order anything of the menu. Surprisingly, many wines use egg whites in the filtering process.

Ihave eaten at V-note and i can testify that the food is awesome. I am not vegan or vegetarian, this is a great alternative to the usual dinner fare. Try the cashew ravioli, its awesome and the wait staff is friendly and well informed. Atmosphere is great and the wine selection is bountiful.
Oh, how I wish I lived in NYC right now! But after reading this, a trip is definitely in order!
