Eloise: The Paper Flower Girl

Eloise Corr Danch is an artist living and working in New York City whose paper flower sculptures have been on view in windows at Macy’s, wherein her installation featured 20 ornate headdresses and more than 2,500 paper flowers strung into colorful, swirling garlands that make you wish you lived inside a Fairy Tale. This project follows the 2008 paper sculpture exhibition, Lady Dulcinea, a life-size baroque dress that was displayed at Anthropologie’s Rockefeller Center store. Eloise is endlessly prolific, cutting her little heart out and making us swoon.

Eloise’s interest in paper sculpture grew from a collaboration with New York designers Ruffian in which she created a paper dress in rococo style for a New York Observer charity event.

These and other recent projects, including product and prop design, have added a three-dimensional component to Eloise’s background in painting and illustration.
